Book "Applause"
Our Wee Scrubs Healthcare Ambassador Nina Böhmer takes us to the front of her everyday work and gets to the point: Profitability must not be the sole benchmark of our healthcare system. It must be about the best possible treatment for patients and at the same time about the people who take care of the sick and those in need of care for their job. But her book also deals with sexism in the workplace, with almost unbearable conditions during training, the non-stop stress in everyday life and bureaucracy at work, as well as the model of 'leasing' nursing staff.
Rebellious, critical, true – a book about the inadequacies of politics, but also about why, despite everything, Nina's job is the best in the world.
